My impression of big losses- whatever they are- is that they either drive a couple apart or bring them together. Both Dee and Lee are making some... not bad, but bad for their marriage decisions here. I mean, the reason they're talking to other people is because it hurts to talk to each other- it hurts them and they hate to watch the other hurting. But at the same time, what they aren't realizing (and what I wanted to imply that Helo and Sharon DID do, whether they realized it or not) is that although leaning on each other is painful, it's something they need to do. I have a scene all about that in the next chapter that I'm REALLY excited about, because it's not from the perspective you'd think... >:)
But yeah. What breaks my heart for them here is that they're making the wrong choices, and they just can't see it because so much else is going on and they don't have hindsight yet. And it's both their faults, but they're both erring out of good intentions. ::sniffle::
And I'm right there with you on Caprica Six. (I honestly thought that one shot was going to be (and should have been) her putting up an ultrasound picture of the baby.) At least they let Tigh grieve it, because men certainly feel pregnancy loss, too, but especially given that the series opened with Cap6 killing a baby... I REALLY wish they'd dealt more with it rather than all the love makes babies crap.

Thanks so much! :)
