Lost Questions
Oct. 5th, 2006 11:16 amSo, Lost was on last night. Whee! Definitely did not disappoint. And...
Defintitely not disappointed! Okay, well, I was, but only because we couldn't say "one more episode?" and watch the next one. I've been spoiled by watching Lost on DVD.
This is the first episode where I've liked Jack's character a bit. Frankly, he bores me. But to see him have some vulnerability and make some mistakes in his personal life... this is by far my favorite Jack episode ever. I still don't like Kate, but as someone else said, for some bizarre reason I like Kate/Sawyer, even though I love Sawyer. Maybe because I love Sawyer as a character, but I wouldn't like him in real life? Don't know. But I was definitely melting a little bit when Kate and Sawyer were facing each other in the different cages.
Question time.
1.) Was Ben/Henry Gale actually in the book club meeting? I say no, he wasn't, Howard thinks he was.
2.) When Zeke told Kate she wasn't his type, did anyone else immediately reach the conclusion that he's gay? Especially when he completely perked up and harassed Sawyer? Personally, I think this would be really funny, because Sawyer dealing with an unwanted attraction like this would TOTALLY crack me up. Of course, Zeke could easily be referring to the fact that Kate's killed people and is really not all that moral of a person, and I know a ton of guys that would get turned off by that. But still. I mean, for all my slashing reputation, I don't often slash. There's not a single pairing on Lost that I read as slash, and my favorite pairings (Claire/Charlie by far, followed by Jin/Sun) are totally het. Anyway. Just curious if anyone else thought the same thing.
3.) I'm sort of thinking that the Others remind me of a cult, the way they talk about and follow Ben. Did anyone else get that feeling?
