1.) It's Friday the 13th. Whee. :)

2.) Been watching Studio 60- we're several episodes behind, but such is life. First of all, what the heck is with Aaron Sorkin and the name Danny? Secondly, enjoying, but it's not killing me with love. Which is okay. This is my third favorite of Sorkin's TV endeavors (West Wing ranking over Sports Night), but it's still better than 90% of the crap on television.

3.) Just once, I'd like to see a fic where Lily and James get all upset about R/S because they think Remus might hurt Sirius, not vice versa. :P Doesn't it seem more in character?

4.) No, Toby, extension cords are NOT toys.

5.) Table food is the plague of my life. Seriously- he's capable of eating it. Put a graham cracker or an animal cracker in front of him and he'll wolf it down. But pasta? bread? fruit? toast? The toast he will at least play with (he threw all ten bite-sized pieces on the floor today), but the others he literally will not touch, much less put in his mouth. Maybe it's just too early, but he's also starting to resist spoon feeding at times. But I am not letting him exist on graham and animal crackers alone. ::sigh::

6.) It's really, really funny to put a baby in an exercise saucer and watch him spin himself around and around. Especially since he obviously thinks it's funny, too.

7.) I will finish AIL and Sirius the altar boy someday. Really.

8.) I think tonight, however, and tomorrow night, I shall work on my Mutant Viewing of the Extended Edition of The Two Towers. Mmm. Faramir.

9.) I really, really want a nice hot bath. Maybe when Toby takes a nap.

10.) I really, really don't feel like running. :P But I should anyway.

That's about how we feel, too - continuing to tape and watch, but I'm not sure if we'll stick it out or not, given how much trouble we're having keeping up with TV at all.

Re: Toby - just keep sticking food in front of him, and he'll eventually give it a shot. Some kids take 15-20 presentations before they'll try something. Two was one of those. And if he threw 10 toast bites on the floor, only give him one at a time. When he's hungry and curious enough, he'll try it. :)

Yesterday Two pushed me around and around in our swivel desk chair. I felt like a windmill (or like that forge bellows in PotC) being pushed by a mule. lol

3. WORD. (You're surprised to see me agreeing on this one, I can tell. ;D) There's a bit of an element of it in The Dating Disasters of Sirius Black, but it's far too rare. If I ever finish my [livejournal.com profile] todieavirgin it will feature James clapping Remus on the back and cheerfully telling him that if he breaks Sirius' heart, James will break his legs.
