Stolen from Poolman
Jan. 10th, 2007 04:40 pmIn 2006, did you...
Fall in love with someone that was just a friend: Nope.
Fall in love at all: I'll echo Pooly: A new love? No.
Lose any friends: I don't think so.
Make any new friends: Yes, it's been an awesome year for that! Lots of other new moms, mainly.
Make any new enemies: Hope not!
Develop any new hobbies: No, but I got back into my cross stitch.
Get older: No, I stopped time. Sheesh, who came up with that question?
Do anything you regret: Of course, but mostly little stuff. But the worst was when we tried to get Toby to eat tablefood and he didn't eat for three days. I still feel guilty over that.
Go to any parties: Several, although most of them involved toddlers.
Accomplish anything: This is a tough one for me, because although each day I make it through is often an accomplishment, at the same time, I don't have many huge ones. I finished a paper for work, I finished hubby's Christmas stocking, but on a personal level, not much. No.
Make much money: No, which I'm never fond of thinking about.
Attend a wedding: Yup! Hubby's great uncle or uncle or something like that. Second wedding, very casual, tons of fun.
Attend a funeral: My grandmother's. Happiest funeral I've ever been to. We miss her, but when you're 95...
Get into a physical fight: No. No TKD for me.
Attend any sporting events: I don't think so...
Make any big purchases: Not really. See the making money thing!
Get fired from a job: Definitely not.
Get offered a job: Yes! I was told there's a project at the USDA that's mine if I want it (and the funding comes through.)
Get a raise at a job: Yeah. 200%.
Learn anything: HAHAHAHAHA. YES.
Get any new piercings: Nope!
Get any new tattoos: Nope!
Read any books: Way too few. Only A Game of Thrones, Clash of Kings, and any new Princess Diaries books that came out.
Travel out of the country: Nope.
Spend much money: I sure tried not to!
Download any music: Only by proxy- whatever hubby downloaded.
Try out any new looks: Not really, although I have been trying to update my wardrobe.
Eat a food that you had never eaten before: I don't think so.
IN 2006 HOW MANY:
Different places did you work: 1
Times did you go out drinking: Bars, none. But not a clue as to how many bottles of wine.
Times did you smoke marijuana: None.
Drugs did you take: Motrin, Advil, stuff for a foot fungus... oh, that's not what it meant?
Times did you have health problems: A cold here and there, continued recovery from a C-section, and the aforementioned foot thing. Can we say blessing?
Times did you go to the movies: Four.
Times did you get your ass kicked: Twice, if Guitar Hero 2 counts. But I usually kick hubby's butt in Scrabble.
Crushes did you have: One- the same one I've had for the past nine years. :)
Times did you attend church: Once- Toby's dedication. We'll get back someday. But I was active in youth group.
Bad habits did you pick up: Broke more than I picked up, I hope!
"Rough nights" did you have: Too many to count!
QUESTIONS ABOUT 2006:
Were you in a hospital this year: You know, I don't think so. No, I take that back. Once with my grandmother.
Were you in an ambulance this year: Nope.
Did you make any big confessions in 06: All sorts about motherhood.
Did you make friends with anyone of the opposite sex that you love but only were friends with? I'll join Pooly and Clare in the land of confusion. I made a couple of male friends, if that fits, but I wouldn't say I love them.
Embarrassed about anything you did this year: Who isn't?
What's the best thing to happen to you this year: You know, I'm really not sure. Not because life sucks, but because I've had so many blessings this year it's hard to pick one.
Meet anyone that you could see yourself marrying: This meme really sucks for happily married people.
Did anyone you have no feelings for confess to having feelings for you: See? Totally sucks.
Did you vote this year: Yes! And Santorum was OUT!
Did you bring sexy back this year: Not totally. Working on it though.
What Goals Do You Set For 2007: Lose weight, work on some writing projects, etc.
