Wheee! Send your questions in to ask JKR!

I didn't go anywhere NEAR Sirius and Remus. Honestly, if she's not going to confirm it, I don't want to know. I'd rather she left it open to interpretation. My question was about Peter, and can he still transform with the silver hand that Voldemort gave him, or does that keep him a human forever? Because that so sounds like something Voldie would do, doesn't it?

The Are Remus and Sirius Just Friends debate is on yet again at FAP. You can tell I'm bored, because I'm actually responding. It does kind of annoy me when people cite the hug as reasons shippers ship R/S. ::sigh:: It's just kind of insulting, y'know? It also amazes me how often people cite the behavior in the Pensieve (where yes, Sirius was being a jerk) and The Prank. Do the words 'Not together yet' have ANY validity to people? Honestly.

Back to reviewing yet another exciting paper and writing AIL8 on the side.

ETA: A bit of an "emergency" here. Does anyone subscribe to Cooking Light? (Or have this month's issue?) If so, can you tell me what the web access password is? Thanks!

You must be bored, to wade into those shark-infested waters again. Honestly, is there anything to say that hasn't been said five hundred times before?

I haven't even read this most recent thread. I know it'll just make me want to bang my head on the desk. Again. Like all the other "Why can't two men just be friiiieeennnnddzzz?1?" threads we've seen. BECAUSE I SAID SO. Isn't that reason enough? :)

Heh. I AM bored. And procrastinating. And you're right, it's all been said 500 times before, but not by me, and some part of my brain is stupid enough to think that might make a difference :)

You haven't missed anything on the thread. In fact, the "why can't two men just be friends" argument is EXACTLY what's being debated (and the hug. Sheesh). And I guess the converse is: why can't two men be lovers? :)

Hey- congrats btw on your Niffle! Very well deserved :)

Thanks! I was quite surprised. That's not a story that I ever expected would appeal to anybody.

And I guess the converse is: why can't two men be lovers?

Hee. Exactly. If it makes a good story, why should anything else matter?

Well, except maybe people that like plot? PWP can be all very well and good, but it and romances get OLD after a while. And there really is a shocking lack of Remus Lost Years fics.

You're not a Cooking Light fan by any chance, are you? (I remember you said you have a kitchen fetish....)

Uh, actually, yeah. I do subscribe to Cooking Light (and belong to a Cooking Light supper club...mmmm, food). But I'm at work, so I don't have this month's issue with me, and so no access code. If you still need it in about 2 hours, I can give it to you then. :)

Heh. Thanks, but identical situation. My husband's plans got changed and he's going to be ::gasp:: HOME for dinner tonight, but I wasn't expecting him and have nothing thawed. And I'm too lazy to go back out once I'm home ;)

I so need to find a supper club though. Too few of my friends are foodies. Hmmm.

Thanks though!

I agree - I just don't want to know unless it's a confirmation and I told melissa to not let me know if she says anything off the record next month unless it's confirmation incorporating off-page snogs. Or at least cuddles.

What? What questions to JK? *is lost*
Anyway...

Oh, that's a smart question! O_O Isn't it just like with the clothes? An animagus' clothes change with them as they transform, so why wouldn't a silver hand tranform as well?
