lls_mutantOh, God. I don't know if anyone's seen the news yet, but so far it looks like 32 people have died and 21 more were injured at Virginia Tech. They're saying it's the worst campus shooting ever.
God. I was at Penn State when they had the shooter by the Hub. I wasn't anywhere near it, but very few people were injured and I believe only ("only", she says) one or two people were killed.
As terrible as this VT shooting is, what makes me really want to cry is my brother is a VT alum. I don't think he'd know any of the kids who were shot- he graduated five years ago. But still. (I will the thought of him being the gunman crossed my mind. Please don't tell me that's in poor taste. I don't know my brother any more, and he would have access to guns. In all odds, it's not him. But the thought was there. ETA: the shooter was alledgedly Asian. Not my brother.) But this is just so immensely terrible... I can't even begin to understand it, or even comprehend it.
Those poor families. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with them.
