Ugh. Toby threw a massive tantrum and refused to eat his lunch. I am starting to dread mealtimes again.

Anyway. Reversathon! Yay!

I haven't read a lot of the fics in Reversathon yet this year. I probably won't read a lot of them, because a lot of them are pairings I don't care for. But I'd be amiss if I didn't do at least a LITTLE pimping. Especially stuff I wrote, and was written for me :) Well, sort of written for me.

This year, I did backup. It was an interesting experience, because when [livejournal.com profile] fluffyllama sent me the requests I could pick from, none of them were pairings I've ever written or gen. So, it stretched my comfort zone a little. I stayed in my favorite era (MWPP), but this is only the second time I've gone AU (ironically, the first time was last year's Reversathon), and it was the first time I've written non-canonical or non-R/S. Well, sort of non-R/S. Not really totally, but hey.

Anyway. My story is Just Forget the World. It's TOTALLY AU, rather long, and, well, shall we say not my normal stuff?

The story written for me (well, assigned to me) is oddly appropriate: Just Like Science by [livejournal.com profile] shinywhimsy. Very lovely, and tell me that the title isn't perfect for me? R/S, very nice stuff.

I also very much liked Sirius Black Decides to Die. AU, post-canon, and although I normally detest suicide fics, this one was very, very good. For some reason it's not on the master list who wrote it, but I think it's the person I wrote my fic for.

There are other stories I haven't read and really want to. There's a [livejournal.com profile] krabapple PoA AU which requires reading, and a [livejournal.com profile] shaggydogstail Regulus story. A few others caught my eyes as well.

I'll probably link back to this post after DH, as so many people are off-line. But if anyone needs some reading, there's some good stuff over at [livejournal.com profile] reversathon!

I was very thrilled to see you mention 'Sirius Black Decides to Die' as it is one of my absolute favorites. Just thought I'd say that. Hee, good taste!

Yay for "Sirius Black Decides to Die"! I betaed that fic, as the author is not a native English speaker, and she has the most lovely turn of phrase, and really original characterisation of Remus and Sirius.
