Ergh. I just can't seem to get anything moving. I've done a few sketches for Toby's new room (on paper) and come up with all of a few names for the baby (which hubby didn't like), and have made no more further progress. Must make progress this week.

I've been trying to kick AIL 14 into submission, but I got a plotbunny from potter_cliche, where someone was mentioning that yes, people, Draco is not a poor abused woobie, and then someone else commented that maybe one of the reasons Lucius hated Arthur so much was that Arthur was so successful at siring kids and Lucius only had one. And somehow, from that, I've started writing Lucius-Arthur gen fic where they start out as sort-of friends and end up hating each other's guts.

I never write Lucius fic. It's very baffling.

I also stole one of her memes. It's the name six fandoms and answer questions about it type thing. I only have one fandom, really, but I'll add a few TV shows.

1. Who is your favourite character from #2? (Firefly)

Kaylee Frye. I want to be Kaylee. She's adorable, she's a mechanic, and she gets to travel through space. How can you NOT love Kaylee?

2. Who is your least favourite character from #4? (West Wing)

Well, I couldn't stand Mandy, but picking from the regulars... Josh actually really got on my nerves by the end. I always liked Josh in tandem with people, but not on his own- he was really quite a jerk at times. I was never much of a Josh/Donna fan because I thought Donna could do better :)

3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? (Harry Potter and Arrested Development)

I have to agree with gunderpants (I'm pretty sure it was her) about Narcissa and Draco and Andromeda and Teddy going to Motherboy and competing against Lucille and Buster. Although there was an awfully good fic out there where Gob went to Hogwarts, which was pretty funny.

4. Who is your favourite ship from #6? (Buffy)

Honestly, the ships bore me, although my favorite relationship is Buffy-Giles. I guess Oz/Willow, although I'm liking Anya/Xander so far.

5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be? (Lost and Buffy)

You know, I do think Charlie and Oz would have a lot of fun just hanging out. Romantically, Sayid and Buffy, I guess. Buffy deserves a really hot, emotionally tortured guy that doesn't drink platelets to survive.

6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do? (West Wing)

Honestly, probably Donna. I think she or Charlie would be the least intimidating to hang out with. Maybe Josh and lobby for more funding for alternative fuel research.

7. If you could change one thing about #2's plot line, what would you change? (Firefly)

It would still be continuing.

8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them. (Arrested Development)

Lucille and Buster. Lucille might love her son, but in the end she uses him because she can't face the world alone and Buster does all the grunt work. Buster might love his mother, but in the end he uses her because he doesn't want to grow up and deal with reality.

I like it because it's funny.

9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be? (Harry from Harry Potter and I guess Jack from Lost?)

No contest. Harry. Sure, he's a wizard. Sure, he could probably save himself, or Ginny could save him. But I love Harry, and Jack annoys the living daylights out of me.

10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose? (West Wing)

Keep it strictly alphabetical. No first billing for you, Rob Lowe.

12. What happens in your favourite episode of show #2? (Firefly)

Jayne thinks he's going back to a town full of enemies, but he's really revered as a god (or near enough to it). The performance of "The Man They Call Jayne" has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life, as long as you watch the episodes previous.

13. If you could kill off one of the characters in #1, who would it be and how would you do it? (Harry Potter)

Well, I was all for killing off Remus Lupin. But honestly? If I could do it, I'd kill off ::Whimper:: Arthur Weasley, because if JKR really wanted to make a point about a father dying to make the world a better place for his kids, it would have been SO MUCH MORE poignant with Arthur instead of Remus. (Although I still would have killed Remus. Just because he was a marauder.)

14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose? (Lost or Arrested Development)

Lost is filmed in Hawaii. Need I say more?

15. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?

Well, I'm married. But aside from that, I would guess Simon Tam from Firefly. Because I love really bright men with a strong devotion to family, and the adults in all the rest are totally screwed up... or Giles.
