rs_small_gifts this year because I enjoyed it SO much last year. My gift that I wrote hasn't been posted (and probably won't be for a bit since I got it in at the last minute), but the gift written for me has been. such_heights, and responded to the prompt of Sirius and midnight mass, with references to Though I Speak with the Tongues of Men and Angels. It's beautifully written, warm and solemn and bittersweet (and also doesn't paint Molly as Evil for her brief appearance, THANK YOU!), and rated PG. Go read!
In other news, still hanging in there, which is good. Just two more days! I'm frantically cleaning, not because of any nesting instinct but because of the classic oh-my-God-my-parents-are-coming instinct. We'll see how much gets done. I'm also totally bummed about the announcement Terry Pratchett just made (early onset Alzheimer's), but trying not to think about that. It sucks though. :P
I'm also trying to fill my husband's stocking, and being aware I'm not getting out much except today and tomorrow. Thinkgeek.com is WAY too fun of a place. (I can say that here, because he still won't have any idea what I bought.) I think I found a V-day present already, too. (Because paying shipping on a stocking stuffer is really annoying.)
