An Artist? Says Who?
Feb. 5th, 2006 04:02 pmOh gads. You know, I am actually a reasonably decent artist. I wouldn't say I'm even close to amazing- not when you look at some of the talent (and more importantly, the hard work) around the net, but I'm not bad. But never, ever, EVER let someone tell you that a decent artist doesn't turn out a shitload of drivel.
I just went through a pile of drawings from college. There had to have been 100 drawings, at least. Know how many I kept?
Three.
To be fair to myself, I think the best drawings are somewhere else. I know I'm missing some of them. But man- some of them sucked. The funny thing is, with ten years of perspective, I can TOTALLY see the points that the professors made on some of them. (The ones I remember what they said, anyway.)
Funny, funny stuff. (Which is good, because I needed a laugh. It's been a rough weekend.)
