The lottery for the NYC marathon opened today. I went to fill out my application... and then saw that, if accepted, it's a $185 entry fee.
One hundred and eighty five dollars.
Add to that that I don't live near NYC and would have to pay for a hotel, and food, and... wow.
The Philadelphia Marathon is $80. I'd still stay at a hotel, but it would likely be one that we have points at. I'd have to buy a few meals, but...

Think I'll wait until hubby gets home before I finish filling out the application. That's a lot. If I didn't have another option, I'd be okay with it, but frankly, I have no issues with running the Philly Marathon. I really liked the half-marathon course, and I like not being too far from home.
I should work out today, speaking of marathons. I'm feeling lazy at the moment, and that I should work on my Secret Santa frakking EPIC. (Seriously. I'm on Page 17. Why can't I write short anymore???) We'll see what happens.
I think I'll to write as this Exodus Earth episode continues, and if I haven't written anything by the time it's over, I'll go downstairs and work out for the second one.
