lls_mutantToday just feels like a rough day.
Technically, it shouldn't- it's Trevor's first birthday. Go, Trev! But at the same time, I'm sick with a nasty cold and I have cramps. Trevor's teeth are really bothering him and he's howling his head off, which means Toby may not nap well, either. Fortunately, Howard's home, but it just still feels like a rough day for everyone.
Went out to dinner last night for a friend's 40th. I'm still stuffed- we went to Legal Seafoods, and while I despise seafood except shrimp, they do a good steak. And a very good chocolate cake thing for dessert. 'Twas excellent- especially getting out without the boys.
Wednesday is the lunch for the group I used to work with, and thanks to Howard, I'm able to go. Should be fun, although I always feel a bit self-conscious about the fact I no longer work. Just... what do I do all day type of stuff, y'know. My normal issues.
So, yeah. Happy birthday, Trevor! One year ago today they sliced my stomach open and then handed me a beautiful baby boy :) If you're gonna get cut up, that's the best reason I can think of to do it.
