I didn't mind the season 1 sexual tension, because Starbuck/Apollo was actually kind of fun. But by the time Anders came along, he just seemed so much better for her. And Kara/Lee, which is what I call everything that happened after season 2 with Lee's promotions and Kara going civilian for a while, never ever worked for me the way Starbuck/Apollo did. Not the way Kara/Sam worked. I love the things Sam brought out in Kara, and I love that he could handle her. Plus, with all the baggage of Kara being engaged to Zak... It was far from my favorite pair.
