May. 10th, 2009 09:53 pmWow, LJ was slow this weekend. Guess y'all were out seeing the new Star Trek, which I will not see until Friday. BUT, my mom will be in town again, and she's watching the kids so Howard and I can go out for dinner AND a movie! BLISS!!!!
I posted fic on Friday: Part 2 of A Lot To Live Up To, the Dee-Hoshi bitchfight fic. :) I'm really having a lot of fun with this one.
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms on my flist! I hope you guys all had good ones.
Mine was pretty reasonable. We had a lousy day yesterday- just very draining, nothing catastrophic. So we were both exhausted, and I seem to be picking up a nasty cold. But Howard got up with the boys (yay!), and I got to sleep in and then get a run in. Most of the day was quiet, but the guys had all decided to take Howard's mother out for her birthday/Mother's Day (her birthday is tomorrow) today. We went to a deli down in King of Prussia, which has good food but unfortunately always gives me massive indigestion. But I got the best present there... Toby ate a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of mandarin oranges. Seriously... MY kid ordered off the menu. After three years, MY kid ate off the menu. I almost cried. (Trevor, of course, inhaled his mac and cheese.)
We came home and got the kids to bed, and Howard gave me my Mother's Day presents- season 4.0 of BSG (the only one that's out that we don't have), and some Godiva chocolates. Battlestar and good chocolate... do I have the perfect husband or what?????
Anyway, hope you all had a great one. And to close out,
