I figured that if people hadn't guessed yet, they'd figure it out by the end of the last chapter and most of the big pieces fell into place. (Just out of curiosity, at what point did you figure it out? Of course, the fact that Louis pretty much died from leukemia in one of my other stories didn't help... ;) )
I know the feeling with Lee. I'm genuinely liking Lee right now. He's trying- he really, really is. And I'll give Lee all the credit in the world here on this count. If Dee had told him she was pregnant, he would have been happy and he would have done his best by the baby. I don't think it would have saved their marriage like Dee was hoping, but I do think Lee would have tried to do his best for the baby (I'd say he learned something from the Black Market incident, and Dee is his wife whereas the other chick was a girlfriend.) He's not going about it quite right, but at the same time, neither is Dee, and dealing with a miscarriage is HARD.
(I mean, this is YFL compliant, so yeah, Hoshi loses everyone. Poor boy.)
I know. ::sniffle:: The sad part is, Hoshi's used to it. (I'm working on his backstory. I'm 17 pages in, and I am totally in love with Jurgen Belzen at this point.)
