Dee/Lee does hurt. I was left very unsatisfied by that relationship in the show. The way it was shown did an injustice to both characters. I'm a believer that there are a lot of decent people who cheat, and while I'd never blame the victim (because it SUCKS to be cheated on, and yes, I totally know, although not remotely marital infidelity because my husband is AWESOME), I find that there's often something off in the relationship to start with. And I wish they'd shown that more in the show, because it makes Lee more palatable and human.
I was pleased with the promotion debacle. My Noel muse finally suggested that, and it was the first suggestion he's made in a long time that doesn't involve him naked. (Have you noticed that people are often naked in this fic? I think there's at least two scenes where Dee and Hoshi see each other in the showers. Dee sees Hoshi naked long before Felix does.)
