lls_mutantWow. Well. That was that.
I'm kind of bummed that I don't feel more over last night's episode. My favorite character on the show was Charlie, and he died a long time ago, and I was actually okay with his death. It was sad, but there was a redemptive air about it and I hated where they were going with his character.
My second favorite character was Sayid. He died last night. And I didn't feel a damn thing, because I hated where they were going with his character. If they had let Sayid die back when he was shot, it would have hurt. Now? He's been a zombie (I think probably fairly literally), and he's not the character I loved. It didn't bug me.
Jin and Sun were awesome, too. And THEY'RE dead. And I couldn't get too into their death scene because wow- the dramatics- and also, the water level stopped rising for a notably long time so they could finish the scene.
Plus, I still think that once you die on the Island, you're off purgatory and you go to Heaven if you die, Hell if you're eaten by Smokey there.
I find the sideways world more interesting (and would still like to know who Jack's wife is, if we know her. Ten bucks says it's Juliet). It was nice to see Bernard again (and him teasing Jack about flirting with Rose- that was cute). I wish we'd seen more of Rose/Bernard in the show, because they were awesome. But I still can't figure out how the hell the two worlds are relating, and we've got all of what, two episodes to go? Three? Either way, I' starting to lose faith. This season started out great, but now I'm frustrated and lost again, and it seems like the LOST method of mystery building continues to be "toss in so many elements and smush em all around that everyone gets confused and no one can sort out a damn thing anymore."
So yeah. I'm just... ARGH. ::sigh:: Coherent. Now there's an appropriate word :P
In other news, Toby flew diaperless last night for the first time, and Trevor's big boy bed arrives today. Which is good, because he's trying to climb out of his crib more and more. My boys are getting so big!!!
