Chief was so much more awesome until he became a Cylon. The more I think about it, the more Chief as a Cylon never worked for me. They just didn't DO anything with it, and it was too similar to Tigh. I really wish they'd gone with someone else. I could have handled Dee (ooh, now that could be an interesting fic- sub Chief out with DEE) or Felix or... I don't know. Anyone but Chief or Helo. It just didn't work as well as it could have.
