I've never read the comic books- that's pretty interesting! I can totally believe that about him.
And I agree. Actually, I'm surprised he didn't. He'd be right there behind the suicide bombings. But on the other hand, I like that they sent Tigh there instead. It made the issue much grayer.
I think if Laura and Tom had been together, one of two things would have happened: Tom would have been able to kick Laura in the ass enough for her to resume her duties, or Laura would have been willing to step down and let Tom step up. So yeah, odds of it happening are low because Laura would have acted differently. ::sigh::
