First off, happy birthday to

kabeyk! Hope it's a great one!

And instead of a birthday fic, birthday rec. Everyone should go read her latest piece, A Holiday of Sorts. It's not her normal style (i.e., no shagging), but she really should write non-porn more because this is absolutely wonderful. Young Sirius/Remus, coping with the aftermath of the prank and dealing with their attraction. Awkward and messy relationships and really really beautiful writing.

I should actually have a fic up today or tomorrow. It's not one I'm supposed to be writing, but it's almost done. And today, I'll just be happy that I've written ANYTHING. It's a fluffy-ish R/S, but not at all AIL. :P (Which is kind of good, because that means a happy ending at least.)
