Plug and Stuff

Like my new icon? :) nassima made it from the pic she did of Sirius and baby Harry for me. Not that there's a reason I have a soft spot for baby Harry at the moment or anything :)

Anyway. A plug: nessaowenfic adopted one of my plot bunnies! She wrote Safe and Sound in Love of Life, and picked up the idea of addressing AIDS post-Azkaban. It's funny and realistic and extremely well written, so go read it. I'm so glad that plot bunny went to a good home!

We're headed up to Albany tomorrow to see my folks, and more importantly, to see my grandmother. My grandmother hasn't met Toby yet, so this will be a very big trip for us. I think seeing him is one of the reasons she's hanging on right now. Plus, my whole family is just dying to see her face when she sees him in person for the first time. (Obviously, she has seen many pictures.) Plus Toby gets to meet Bill's mother and possibly his kids, my old neighbors, and one of my best friends, and his uncle (my sister's husband. He's met my sister). Big weekend for a little boy!

Hubby is gone next week, though, and I've been in the mood to write drabbles. (The literal definition of drabbles- 100 words.) Any requests?
