Oi. Took Toby to have his picture taken today. Is there an unwritten rule that babies must cry when they have their pictures taken? Honestly. Never did get a picture- we'll have to try again. Instead, he got a shot that the doctors had run out of. (Lucky him. And for the record, this was after we'd tried for the picture.)

Finished my Searchers review, and am almost done a review for Oklahoma Crude- a movie I had never even heard of but actually turned out to be really good. We also finally started watching Firefly last night. Good stuff, and I definitely have a new favorite female character in Kaylee. Any woman who understands engines gets major points from me :) (Even if they aren't diesels.)

I wish I could talk about my Remix, because I do have stuff to say about it, and I think I could even get away with talking about it and not giving away which one mine is or who I'm writing for... but I'm not positive. A sharp reader will catch that this one is mine anyway, because I, erm, made a tiny reference to my own canon. But it's just a little one. Oh well.

And even though people have already recced it (because it deserves it), go read snorkackcatcher's A Wolf Covers His Tracks. Really good gen Remus tracking Fenrir stuff, with lots of action and adventure types of things. There really isn't enough Remus action/adventure. :P

Off to work out before Toby wakes up... I hope!

Point a camera at babies, and they either cry or throw up... It's the universal law of parenthood.

Half the fun of anonymous challenges is trying to recognise who wrote what. It's my favourite game, especially when I'm not taking part! :D So please don't give any more clues about your remix... *pleads*

Actually, I think it is written down somewhere. In a memo or something. Or it should be.

My kids are due for a new portrait, and I'm dreading it. They don't so much cry at their ages as fuss and moan about being squished together for a group shot. *g* But it's always so nice once it's done.

And I know exactly what you mean about the remix. I'm biting my tongue a lot. Not much longer ...

I know- I can't wait to actually talk about it. I'm tempted to do a commentary on it when it's done, just because keeping my mouth shut is so hard. (As you can see!)

Point a camera at virtually anyone and stuff goes wrong. The things emit confusons or something. (Well anyway, whenever I have my picture taken, it seems to capture the precise moment when I look the most fatuous. :D)
