It doesn't take much to amuse me. I'm working on AIL 12, and I had to steal a Firefly quote for it.
"Yes, tell us again," Peter said, joining them. "And start with the part where you three got bailed out by two pregnant women, because that's never getting old."
Really, it fits SO perfectly, in so many ways. Can you just hear Peter's bitterness there?
So much writing to do, and so little time. Sheesh. The bright side is I have Ideas. I know exactly what's supposed to happen in AIL 12, I have a great idea for my
femgenficathon fic, I have several ideas for
musesfool's Firefly-West Wing titles thing (and one of them is for Ellie of all things, but really- that's such an easy title to come up with a story for if you think about it), and I still have Sirius's paper on his bike on my desktop. Only thing is, I have MY paper on my fuels on my desktop, and we are rapidly running short of reviews at MRFH again, which means I'd better write some. I have one in the queue (Supersize Me), but nothing else yet. Time to dig through- I know I have a review of Wind largely written, and I think I have a few others as well. But top writing priority is gonna have to go to my paper and reviews this week, I think. (Which explains why I'm typing on AIL.)
And of course, Toby is not napping. I thought he might- and he did, for a little bit today- because he really didn't sleep well at my parents' house, but he's currently in his swing babbling at his mobile. Oh well.
Oh cool- we just got the most recent West Wing DVD, and there's an episode called The Hubbert Peak? Whoohoo!!! I was so excited when they used biodiesel in the one episode. Looking forward to this one. (I assume it deals with fossil fuel supplies.)
