Doin' the Happy Dance!
Jul. 7th, 2006 03:48 pmGuess who finished her paper???? WHOOHOO and YES!!!!!!!!!!! Granted, it's really a rough draft. Hubby's going to read it over this weekend, and then I have to send it to my former bosses. I have three former bosses- my direct supervisor, my CRIS supervisor, and the research group leader (can you tell I used to work for the government?) All three of them have to make their edits. (Well, the two are co-authors anyway.) Want to bet that at least two of them make contradictory edits? (It's so happened before.)
I'm done my paper. YES!

Date: 2006-07-08 01:09 am (UTC)I love reading about your paper-writing and editing committee and all that; it reminds me of my previous job for a government scientific research institute. Thanks for bringing up good memories! :)

Date: 2006-07-10 07:55 pm (UTC)I hate paper by committee. And I often wonder if I'm the one writing it, why are some of their names on it????

Date: 2006-07-10 08:00 pm (UTC)a.) Hubby and former boss both have copies now, pluss there's a hard copy (which Toby WOULD eat if I let him), and
b.) Toby's not mobile, which means he can't get to the hard drive.
Hmmm. Now that I've typed that he'll start crawling tomorrow.
