I was in a grumpy mood and going to write a post about why, but I took Toby for a two mile run and that really helped (aren't you proud of me, Kris? Of course, I'm going out to lunch...), and I've decided that since my problem is I'm emotionally exhausted and feeling like my life is boring to other people, maybe I should just go out and do something instead of talking about it. So as soon as Toby gets up we're going down to King of Prussia to buy some mats for the bathroom, an anniversary gift for my husband, and maybe start some Christmas shopping. And we're eating lunch out. At the food court (I'll probably try to be good and get Subway and fail to be good and get Taco Bell, which still isn't THAT bad), but still. It's OUT.

So that's good. Productivity is a good thing.

In other news: The 9th Annual Mutant Awards are open for voting. Frustrated with the Oscars, we Mutants have nominated movies you've actually watched in categories that actually matter, like Most Creative Weapon, Most Intriguing Unanswered Secret, and Best Geek Performance. Go vote. It's fun.

And, of course, since it's Thursday morning...

I am filled with so much love for last night's episode. I adore Jin/Sun, and as it keeps getting darker and darker I love it more and more. I love how all our initial assumptions about this pair were way too simplistic. I can't say wrong, because Jin can be a controlling bastard and Sun often remembers her culture and upbringing. I love that she rebels, but in a subdued way. I love (as a character) that she never takes responsibility for her actions. I love that he's utterly tormented. I still wonder if he knows that she did cheat on him.

I am thinking, however, that the baby is either a.) Jin's, or b.) somehow not Jin's, but not really Sun's, either. (Or at least, not conceived via normal methods.) Benry there said the Losties have been on the island for 69 days, and Jin's only recenty discovered her pregnancy. If you're going to have morning sickness, it's supposed to start in the fourth to eighth week, so 28-56 days after your last period began. And even if Jin and Sun left the country immediately after Yae's funeral, you figure there was probably a few days between his death and his funeral, time for them to get to Australia (wasn't he there on business? I forget)... add in another week, say. So as of the day Jack sees the Red Sox game, she hasn't slept with Yae in an absolute minumum of 75 or more days. If the kid was his, she (I think) should have known she was preggers before this.

But I could be wrong.

I also love that at the same time, Kate and Sawyer are almost being sweet. I suspect that the dynamics will shift multiple times, which is good. I didn't think I'd like Kate/Sawyer, simply because I don't like Kate much, but I'm liking it a lot. But Sawyer and Hurley get all the best lines. Between Hurley's, "Dude, the hatch like, blew off your underwear" and the Other telling Kate if she didn't want to work in her dress she could take it off, everyone looking at Sawyer as if he should react, but Sawyer obviously liking the idea, then him realizing everyone was looking at him and his "Oh! Right! How dare you!" bit... I love those two. Their fight was one of the best parts about Season 2.

Also, although I am not a Jack fan, I do like Matthew Fox (I just think Jack's rather dull), and that bit with the whole Red Sox and the World Series and the look on his face when Benry showed him the tape... oh, that was poignant. I really felt bad for Jack at that point, because if he does cooperate, who can really blame him?

Only a week until the next episode!
