Okay Accidentally In Love readers....

I have a thing for making CDs with themes. I'm kind of thinking of making an AIL soundtrack. I have a few ideas for it, but I'm not much of an album buyer. (My husband, however....) Anyone have any suggestions for me?

What I've got:

Accidentally In Love- Counting Crowes (duh)
Hallelujah- Rufas Wainwright (also duh)
Lucky- Fish (very appropriate for Remus)
Bohemien Rhapsody- Queen (what Remus and Lily were singing in part 2)
Good Old Fashion Lover Boy- Queen (coming soon to a part near you!)
The Boys Are Back in Town (because it's the ultimate MWPP song.)

More as I think of them. I'd really like something that sums up a couple of the relationships:

Alex/Remus
Alice/Sirius (I was thinking American Girl, which fits in feeling, but the words- especially the title- are horrendeously inappropriate!)
Damien/Remus (I'm kind of thinking "Perfect" by Simple Plan, but....)
Sirius running away

Help?

For Sirius running away...perhaps 'I can't find my way home" by Blind Faith? I adore that song.

For Sirius running away, I would suggest Staind's Could It Be? (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/staind/coulditbe.html) Not actually about running away, but I think it describes how he feels towards his parents. At least, that's pretty much what I got from DTF, but it's been awhile since I read it.

Hi there! My name is Lissanne and I am a good friend of [livejournal.com profile] aome's. Quite some time back, she (and a few other people!) recommended I read your series -- "Deny Thy Father", "Mentors" and "Accidentally in Love". I didn't start doing so until yesterday but wanted to tell you that I was up until 2 a.m. this morning reading, then finished up today. I'm not a big MWPP fan but I was just so captivated by your series that I couldn't stop reading! I love what you've done with their lives and how you've given them credible backstories. I love how you moved through the seven years without dwelling too much and bogging the story down. I absolutely adored the character of Alphard Black and was completely shocked when he was executed at the end of "Mentors". I love the way you've developed each of the four boys.

*laughs* I'm sorry, I know I've rambled there a bit. I think you get the point :-) I just wanted to leave you a little review to let you know how much I've enjoyed your series, and I see you have part 7 of AIL up so I shall go read that now. I hope it's okay for me to friend your LJ so I can keep up to date with new ficlets and chapters being posted.

Cheers
Liss

Wow. That was a nice thing to wake up to! Thanks so much! I'm glad you've enjoyed it.

Feel free to friend me! (Especially anyone named Liss, because, well, you're just automatically cool that way ;) )

By the way- GREAT icon. Are you a Pern fan as well, just out of curiousity?

Thanks again!
-Lissa

Another Lissa! Hurrah. We are totally cool :D

I actually don't know what Pern is, I'm sorry (or who, as the case may be). I happened to find it on a site that you could take from, but I have no idea where!

Cheers
Liss

i thought of this while on my trip > Delicate by Damien Rice. It talks about sneaking off to make out and 'if no one is watching I might take you home', and it just reminds me of them, how they don't like to sneak around but their relationship is sort of delicate. yeah. Go DL! :D

Not sure it suits AiL, but my ultimate Remus song is Nightswimming by REM. It has such a feeling of nostalgia about it. Don't know how useful that is to you but... yah...
