I gave up on Lent. I shouldn't, but I did. Unfortunately, it led to a bit of a binge tonight. I so hate that.
On the bright side, I went running this afternoon. I forgot how hard two miles of running with a stroller in front of you is. Whoo! I've been working out some, but yeah- it's just not the same as running.
Did a commentary of Men and Angels, and will do a commentary of The Old Canvas Bag. Speaking of Damien and writing, I'm halfway through Chapter 13 of AIL! This is big, because last week I had 1 page. I'd like to get the chapter done by the weekend and then focus on Remix next week. No promises that that will actually happen, but if I have a solid goal, it will help.
I feel like I'm having pacing issues with AIL. The last few chapters have taken place over a span of days. I'm 9 full pages into AIL 13 and we're still in the first week of August. Given that there's a good 14 months still to get through in less than 4 months, I really need to pick up the pace of the story a bit. I'm hoping that I can because we're coming out of some stressful times and into some times that are still stressful but not in the same way, and are sort of happier. Happier tends to move faster.
Must also get a review in soon. Eek.
I had forgotten how much my muse likes music, though. Amazing what an iPod during naptime can do!

And a big thumbs up for being halfway through AIL 13... it is my reading chocolate!!
