Eek. Y'know that "how to spot a story by me" meme? I think we have a new entry.

I'm going to guess, um... well, I'm pretty sure it's not one of the gen ones, because that's not a last line and those all take place in a night, except for Deny Thy Father. I'm guessing it's not DTF because you know I know you've read that one, and that would be obvious. (Although would you assume I'd think it was obvious and use that to your advantage? "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!".)

It could be Accidentally In Love. In fact, I've probably used it somewhere in AIL. But again, too obvious.

Not one of the fics without plot. Sirius rarely shuts up in those. Not Fallacy of Loneliness. That's his intention, until Remus comes in.

Hmmm. It could be Replace the Fear, Walls, Wake Me Up Inside, or something I'm forgetting. Those all have times when Sirius is feeling awkward. And since Toby is acting up, I'll say Replace the Fear?

Heh. You're imputing way too much subtlety to me -- I picked one off the list in the sidebar. :) I was being a bit unfair since that's a very unspecific line -- it's actually DTF ch3 (the last line of the scene where Sirius and James find the "Raising Children in a Dark Home" book and Sirius takes it badly).

Which reminds me I should go and look up some of those other fics and get back to AIL and continue past ch4 or thereabouts ...
