So. copperbadge read what's online, and since I trust his judgment and his bias, I asked the question I've been obsessing over (though God knows why.)

Bearing in mind I am perfectly happy to make Remus bi instead of gay, and I truly believe Sirius is dead and Remus can move on, is there anything in the book to automatically rule out a past R/S relationship?

His answer? No- nothing confirming, but nothing denying. In fact, very little discussion at all.

I am happy. I think I'm so invested in this because I was so convinced I was right, and I hate being wrong. I'm happy enough to be not proven wrong and not TOTALLY jossed from AIL, I'll take what I can get. Whatever happens to Remus and Tonks in the book, hey, I'll deal. In fact, very little discussion makes me even happier, just because it means I have more freedom. So YAY!

Anyway, it's totally silly, but that took any dread I was feeling about DH out of me, and now I'm just looking forward to it. Get here already, Saturday!
