DH Makes Things Fun
Aug. 23rd, 2007 04:02 pmHehe. Moody is about to verbally kick Remus's butt for being a jerk. I'm loving DH for stomping on the St. Remus characterization. Really, I am.
It's been very quiet here, which is no big shock. Same old, same old, which is why I never post much. Writing is coming slow, but I think I had a bit of a breakthrough with AIL 14, in that it finally moved off Page 9 and we're up to Page 12. Yay! But it's been so long since I've written it I feel like I need to reread a few chapters, just to know where I'm going. I've long had certain ideas, and I remember most of them, but every now and then the details of a subplot occur to me spontaneously. And I don't write anything down, which isn't good. ::Sigh::
I did get five pages done of the Lucius-Arthur story. I really like it so far, but I find writing Lucius difficult. For all the fandom love, he's not really much of a character. Which I'm not complaining about, incidentally. I don't think he's supposed to be overly dimensional. But he's someone I don't really like, and writing a story from his POV is challenging.
So is making JKR's timeline match up with my story. But heck with that :) I wrote too much of it when I realized the timeline didn't really work great, and have decided to screw it.
Ah well. Sounds like Toby is up, and writing time is over for the day.

Date: 2007-08-23 09:34 pm (UTC)About Remus, yes he definitely is not a saint, he can act badly from time to time. Because he is quite insecure and he loathes his condition. But I really hope that you will not make him a jerk and Sirius a complete darling. It would not be at all canon-like, in my opinion.
