Actually, I just wanted to use my new icon. You have to admit it's funny. :) (I had to get a couple, but I still need a good Hiro one.)
-Mr. Muggles is the brains of the Butler/Bennet household. I think this is now completely clear.
-The storyline is a little slow, but Hiro does crack me up still. "Why does he keep saying his name?" Best line of the episode.
-Peter Petrelli honestly doesn't do much for me in general. I mean, I like him well enough, but my favorite storylines have always been Hiro and Ando, Claire and Noah, Matt, and Isaac. I think I don't go crazy for Peter because he's so often tied with Nathan, and while I think Nathan's a well written character, I REALLY don't like him.
-Mama Petrelli better not die soon, because she's going to be so much fun.
-Theory I've read on-line: Kensai is the Hoodie guy, because the regeneration powers make him immortal. It makes sense, I guess, but I think that might be too easy.
-I LIKE that they're redoing powers, and that the people who have duplicate powers may not be related. It makes sense to me. If you're going to have that many Mutants/Heroes, some of the powers are going to be duplicated. Especially some of the less powerful ones, like flight or TK. If Peter's power is duplicated more than once in the show, that would be annoying. (Although I thought Peter vs. Sylar was best.) Same with Hiro or the Haitian. But more than one person who can fly, regenerate, or turn invisible? Why not?
-I like the twins well enough, too. And I'm curious about Niki and her crew. I'm not a huge Niki fan, mainly because I hate Jessica, but I like her in the context of her family and thought she was interesting enough. Although it drove me crazy for a while when I first saw her and kept trying to place where I'd seen her before (Brooke in Legally Blonde.) Also, the previews for Life were driving me nuts because I knew I'd seen the guy before (Damian Lewis) and totally couldn't place it. Band of Brothers. Thank you, IMDb.
-That's all for now, I guess. But I should sleep.

Date: 2007-10-02 05:09 am (UTC)At the end of the ep when Mr. Muggles is going crazy and jumping in the air I was thinking 'Claire! Mr. Muggles is trying to tell you your future boyfriend can fly and you're not paying attention!'
