Beta and other stuff

lls_mutantIs anyone willing to beta a page or so for me? Sounds short, yes, but it's not that easy. It's that dratted monologue I wrote for Fenrir for AIL 14. The problem? He sounds like Jayne Cobb. I need help :P Anyway, it's gen, with no implications that JKR didn't put there in the first place.
Remix signups opened today- YAY! I'm excited- this is my favorite challenge of all in fandom, and I'm really looking forward to it.
We're almost through season one of Battlestar Galactica. The sound is still driving me bonkers- I find it hard to understand what they're saying sometimes. But I like it. I have no intention of entering fandom, but if I did, at this point I would SO be a Adama/Roslin shipper. We watched Colonial Day last night, and when he asked her to dance at the end I just grinned from ear to ear, even if it is just some ceremonial thing- and just a freaking dance. If I was going to be in fandom there, they would totally be my OTP.
That said, I've heard a lot about the female characters, and I'm cheering that immensely. They really have done a great job with creating some awesome female characters that hold their own with the excellent male characters. Starbuck is growing on me, but Roslin is still my favorite. And I have to admit I really like Dee (Dee/Billy is currently my secondary OTP) and Boomer. I also like that one of the big villains is female- you can't have the good without the bad.
Not sure what they're doing with religion. Not sure if I like it. Am withholding judgment until we know more. I have decided I need to find me a new BSG icon though.
I feel like we're settling into a rhythm with the boys. Trevor's sleeping better at night, although not through the night, and Toby's doing really well adjusting. He watched a big chunk of the Daytona 500 yesterday, which was adorable. I can't wait until Trevor also has a personality. The infant stage is rather dull to me, but I am LOVING having a toddler, even on the hard days.
