Happy Birthday!

I might post more later, I don't know, because I'm in a super-bitchy mood, but I DO want to say happy birthday to the inestimable krislaughs!!!!! Happy birthday, and hope it's absolutely wonderful!!! :)

Recs and Bitchy Question

Two quick recs:

The Water Is Wide by moondagny. R/S, Remus post-1981, and very, very, very well written. A great, strong Remus, and I think everyone reading this would like it, because I think pretty much all of you are driven nuts by a whiny emo Remus.

and

Prey by teawithvoldy. Creey, but so well drawn. Gen, Fenrir and young Remus, and really rather heartbreaking.

And because I don't feel good and am feeling a bit bitchy, the question.

What are people looking for when they ask for "in character" Snape/Harry on FAP? Seriously? Realistically, or totally in character, the thought would never, EVER cross either one of their minds. Like I said, I'm feeling bitchy. I feel that way about a lot of other ships, too. Not necessarily non-canon ones, mind you. Just ones where the participants give every evidence of despising each other.

Anyway. :P I think I have a small fever and am coming down with something, and hubby's not due home until 7:30. We are so ordering out tonight. :P And Toby is trying to help me type. Thanks, sweetie, but it's easier if you don't help. On the bright side, I wrote a HAPPY scene for AIL today. Yay!
