Okay, is it just me or is Sweet8 there coming across as Psycho Ex Girlfriend? Maybe she is psycho. Heh.

Gotta love the technobabbley explanation. And Pinball went straight into the ECO seat :) (Sorry, trovia, he's Pinball in my head. ;) )

And Hoshi. OMG, Hoshi... you are a sweetie, boy. But no wonder Tigh was looking at you like you were nuts. You need a better plan than relying on the Gods or destiny or whatever to help you find Felix. It will work, we all know this, but the Dee in my head is laughing her ass off at your logic.

On the other hand, you TOTALLY turned Tigh into a Gaeta/Hoshi shipper, so that's saying something. Tigh is such a grump- it's nice to see he can be moved by something like that. Felix, you'd better appreciate this guy. If he doesn't, Hoshi, go hook up with Sam Anders. He gets that devotion thing, too.

Seriously. Tigh almost squeed. Well, the Tigh version of squeeing, anyway. That right there was worth it.

And at least they addressed my point about that much time left in a Raptor together with waste. I'm not quite sure how this works out, mind you. They've got 20 hours of air left, but Felix is alive for three days? Somehow, I think this might be JKR math, and not thinking about it is the right thing to do. Of course, as the people keep dying....

Not sure I'll get to see Part 3 until the evening, as I'm going out on Wednesday. And I'll not see Part 5 until after Christmas, I suspect. But still. Enjoying muchly, especially now that PMS has calmed down to a dull simmer.

Did you notice that Hoshi basically gave the full-on "he is my sine qua non" speech? If only he had some kind of special significant book to bring on the raptor. (I WOULD PREFER IF THEY EMULATED A COUPLE ON THE SHOW THAT ACTUALLY HAS SEX, BUT OKAY, I SQUEED ANYWAY.)

20 hours for six people. People start getting killed = more oxygen.

(Actually I just watched it again and Hoshi was saying they'd already been gone two days. I like my explanation better. What, and they just starting calculating their resources?)

I most definitely noticed that. And now I want to write the deleted scene where Tigh runs it by Adama, and points out that look, if you're going to go wait for YOUR girlfriend in a Raptor, what's to stop other yahoos from doing the same? Where do you think he got this bright idea from, huh Bill?

Stalker8 is a Mrs Reynolds, I swear. She needs to die horribly by the end of this series. I like Pilot8 better. Brooks is a bit of a headcase, right? I like him too. I'm betting one of the pilots will be the first to die. I'm glad they addressed why they are all going to be sleeping so much!

I loved that Felix still so cool-headed in a crisis and that his little morpha addiction hasn't effected his amazing super brain. I also like that Felix seems to be blocking Starker8 out as much I am! Perfect 'blanking you' look.

Funny that Hoshi is in with the destiny faith, since Felix has always been pretty atheist. That's a bit of a clash. The Dee in my head is sniggering too. Hoshi coming out to Tigh was so cute. I'm really into the Gaeta-Tigh relationship. After Baltar, Gaeta probably shares most of his screentime with Tigh. He's become like his grumpy old uncle. He did seem to squee in his own gruff way. Nice to know that he accepts his oddball nephew's new boyfriend.

If he doesn't, Hoshi, go hook up with Sam Anders. He gets that devotion thing, too.

I really want a moment when Hoshi finds Gaeta that similar to Sam finding Kara on New Caprica! Hoshi kissing a barely conscious-Gaeta would be swoony.

She is definitely coming across as a stalker. And yeah, I'm ready for Felix to tell her to frak off already. I'm getting the impression that whatever ended their relationship, it was Not Good. ::crosses fingers as she sees what she wants to see:: And she and Pilot8 got so horribly offended when Brooks dared to pray to his god! Yeesh.

Is Felix definitely atheist? I know it's a fairly fanon conception, but I can't remember. I know he says he's not superstitious, but.... there's a big difference in believing in the gods and accepting that Laura Roslin is a prophet.

But totally agree about Gaeta and Tigh. I'm actually glad they couldn't get Adama. I mean, nothing at ALL against EJO, but the Tigh-Gaeta relationship is more interesting than the Adama-Gaeta one. Although I'd like to know if Adama sees the parallels in what he did and what Hoshi's doing. Someone needs to write the scene where Tigh runs it by Adama.

And I whole heartedly agree with your last statement. Hoshi is so. in. love. ::grins::

I always saw Felix as a Deist. A believer in a higher power but not one that actively works with or against people.

Well, I can remember Felix smirking about Roslin's religious visions and I also remember him talking to Adama about how he wasn't supertitious but there were some freaky things going on with the eye of Jupiter, etc. I just read his character that way. He's a man of science and logic.

Ooh! Have you heard?? Hoshi's first name is Louis?! I can't believe how close you were with Lucas. Two letters difference! You are spookily tuned into Mr Hoshi.

You know what would make Gaeta/Hoshi's romantic reunion even better? If Tigh was watching and gruffly squeeing in the background...bliss!

Yeah, I can see how you can read Felix's character as areligious (I often do it that way myself), but I think it's a fanon- not canon. He could be religious, just not that type.

Have we actually heard Hoshi's first name anywhere? Or is it just on the Battlestar Wiki?

(seriously - I still think Pinball is the best proposition yet, and I'll still use it in a fic if it comes up, no matter that I have a special place in my heart for Pansy :))

Anyway. I don't think it's a problem if Hoshi is religious (although I went like "OMG, he's a Bible thumper!" on first sight but, well, that's me thinking everything is funny). The Gaeta/Hot Dog fic I'm writing right now has a Hot Dog who prays everyday and that worked out fine. I can't really tell you why I think it works, but it does. :)

Yeah, I don't think it's a problem, either. I wonder if Gaeta's actually become a little more religious since the nebula- he seemed really stunned by the odds of that happening. I also am a big believer in respect- I once dated an atheist (I'm rather religious), and it worked out fine. Well, we eventually broke up, but that had a lot more to do with distance than it did with religion ;)

*scratches head* Maybe I missed or forgot something but...where are you getting that impression? From what we've seen so far of the webisodes, their relationship on New Caprica could have been just about anything. All she said is, "Hey, remember me?" That doesn't strike me as stalkery.

I do love that Hoshi had no problem going to Tigh, and that Tigh was empathetic. Hee. I think there was a time when I couldn't stand Tigh, but...that's all in the past.

Y'know, I just don't like the Eights. I like Athena and Boomer's okay, but the random Eights... I don't like them. They creep me out a bit.

I loved that, too, as you can see by my new icon. And yeah, during Revelations, I realized that sometime long before that (I think around New Caprica), I started adoring Tigh. It was gradual, and I didn't know it until Tigh's Balls of Steel moment, but yeah. Tigh ROCKS.

I didn't realize who you were referring to with "Pinball" until I read the comments. Even though you've mentioned it before. Yes, it's very reassuring that I teach impressionable minds!

I can't remember what fic it was (someday I'll find it again), but I read one back in the day that gave Felix the call sign "Hermes", and that's the one that's lodged itself into my own head!fanon.

LOL! I actually almost used HErmes, and then decided to have a little fun at Felix's expense instead. :) And I adored Geek!Felix as well. (Although I'm not quite sure why we're putting the exclamation point there. IS there another Felix besides the geeky one? :) )

I forgive him being illogical because he's sweet. :-) And he's in love with our boy, and what logic is there in that? Still sweet, though.

I felt Tigh was thinking about Ellen for a moment. :-(

His eye did squee! I saw it! And I love that. That did more for me and the show and homosexuality than the kiss. Tigh softened for Gaeta/Hoshi more than he did for Kara and Lee. He's mellowed and Gaeta/Hoshi's cuteness is irresistible. :-)

Maybe they have 20 hours if they all survive. But if they die and there is only Gaeta left? But there are more of them than I thought. All five die? That's . . . that's kinda frakked up.

I'm enjoying them too. And glad you feel better. :-)
