Jan. 23rd, 2009 04:12 pmArgh. I hate postpartum fic writer's block. I haven't written much of anything since The Touch of Your Grace. Two paragraphs. (And a review of The Da Vinci code.) It's not I don't have ideas, it's that I don't have the motivation to type or something.
I'm gonna print out NaNoWriMo this weekend, so I can work on it in the hospital. Can't wait for the day I have a laptop.
Looking forward to tonight. Not just BSG, but Howard's coming HOME! After a week alone with sick kids, this news makes me very, VERY happy. (Okay, and I'm also happy to see the love of my life and all that.)
It was gorgeous out today- in the 50s. Took the boys out for a walk, and Toby got to run with one of his buddies. It's interesting to see what friends he's attracted to. This little boy is VERY energetic and loud. He's not at all a bad kid- quite the contrary. I adore his mother, like his father well enough (don't know him as well), and this little boy is just incredibly sweet. He and Toby are just very different, and yet they play together wonderfully. There's another little boy in our development that's much more like Toby- quiet and self-sufficient (and his mother is my other best friend in the development), and Toby doesn't seem to care for playing with him as much.
Eep. Speaking of, sounds like someone's up.
