Is it spring yet? Okay, so it is. Is it acting like spring yet? It's very weird outside right now- serious fog and bright sunshine. Not a mix you see often.

I posted fic yesterday over at [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest: I'm No Superman. There wasn't much on New Caprica that Felix could change, not with the Cylons in charge. But some people he could help, even if he'd never expected they'd need it. Gaeta/Eight, and a pair of OMCs. PG-13. Also written for the Little Black Dress challenge, as this has the closest to Gaeta/Jake I'll ever right. (Don't worry- it doesn't really go there.)

I have a feeling today is going to be a completely forgettable day. I have loads of laundry to do and should do some housecleaning, so I suspect it's just a housewifely day. I think I'll let Toby play with Play-Dough this morning, which is always a scary proposition :) But he LOVES it, so he'll probably park himself at the kitchen table and play happily for an hour, chattering the entire time. Seriously, I love my kid, but he never shuts up. I need to run tonight, too, but that will have to wait until after the kids are in bed as hubby is playing softball tonight and won't be home until late. (Not that I mind. The poor guy gets out so rarely that when he occasionally asks to do something for himself, I try to just shoo him out the door.)

Watched Lost last night. Was it just us, or were they desperate to make up the time? It seemed especially commercial heavy, and the worst was the break where there were FOUR Lexus commercials in the same break. ARGH. The thing was, I think Miles is an interesting enough character that I could have done with a little more of him. Even if they didn't want to reveal anything more about him, I wouldn't have minded more background, like seeing him being picked on at school or something. LOST did indeed need to introduce some new characters, and the freighter crew was a good way to do it. I wasn't crazy about Charlotte (not sure I was supposed to be), but I've really liked Daniel, Naomi, and Miles. Also, if LOST wanted to play the gay card in a way that's a little more meaningful than revealing a character's sexuality and then killing him off that episode, Miles would be kind of ideal, y'know?

Also, need more Miles-Hurley buddy comedy, show. (How much do I LOVE that Hurley was writing Empire Strikes Back? Hehehehe.) I miss the Hurley-Charlie-Sawyer-Jin group, and when LOST decides to do buddy comedy, they do it well. (I also really liked Michael-Jin. "Well, I'm pretty sure I know the Korean for faster and idiot." Best line on the show.) And Hurley suggesting that Miles change his own diaper was pretty funny.

I'm also glad we've got Daniel coming back. I'm dying to know what he's been up to, and maybe he'll answer some of the questions about time travel.

I hope they don't break up Sawyer/Juliet. I don't really like Jack of Kate, so I'm content for them to go off and be together and quarantine their annoyingness somewhere else. (Although Jack refusing to operate on Ben a few episodes ago was unexpected and awesome.) But Sawyer/Juliet makes sense to me, and I think she's really good for him. She can be just as manipulative, and yet she can be very loyal, too. Not to mention they would have pretty, pretty babies if they went that way.

So, yeah, I'd say LOST has improved some. Although I'm still completely lost.

I should get the boys up soon. Have a good one!

I apologise again for my horrible review skills. Really, that fic is so pitch-perfect. &hearts

I have a feeling today is going to be a completely forgettable day.
Umm, I get my Gaeta Civvies today. The inevitable picspam will be epic. Ergo, this will not be a forgettable day. XP

Didn't read the spoilers for Lost, as I haven't seen anything past season 3, though I have tried to have a few people explain to me what's happened since then. Should I start watching it again? I've been flip-flopping on the issue.

Spring, please to be acting like you're supposed to?

It's spring where I am, though I hear it's getting before freezing tonight. Oh, April. :-)

Lost is weird. I can't get myself to write a post about it. And I like Miles. But that may be since someone made a Miles/Kate vid once that I just loved. (Me and rare pairing, what can I say?) Probably off YouTube now, but I like his expressions. He's in it for the money! Perfect. And that moment when his father said he needed him and Miles said, "You do?" Aww!

Not sure if I still like Hurley. I mean I love Hurley but not sure if I still like him. I do miss Hurley-Sawyer. They were very cute. Hurley-Sawyer-Jin too. :-)

Sawyer/Juliet is better. I am glad that Jack didn't operate, but he made me sad last night. It's like he's fading away. If they really wanted to surprise us, they'd kill him and not Miles (who seems like he'll die soon). But that's me. It's not even so much wanting blood, except this is Lost where people die all the time and once I don't see the usefulness of a character anymore I want them gone. And there's only one way off The Island. Sorta.

(Besides if Jack died he could go have conversations with Christian and my other favorite, Claire. Could be a regular family reunion. :-))

Sorry for rambling!
