Hmm, I don't know enough about Pern for it to mean much.

Do you know anything about Star Wars? I'm not talking obsessive EU or anything, just classic three or the new three, or whatever. I think it might be neat to hear what you'd think for something not really your fandom.

Well, that's true. I was totally astounded- I met a girl the other day who *hadn't seen it.* Not any of the Star Wars films. Not a one. It baffled me.

Hee, Ewoks. I think I would have loved the ewoks if the plot of that one was really as strong as the plot of Empire. x.x I really loved them when I was young though (I was Endor Leia for Halloween one year.)

Obi-Wan is sort of the gay bicycle of the Star Wars world. I like him with Qui-Gon okay (the age difference is too big) and I generally like Qui-Gon as Anakin's biological father and Obi-Wan with either Anakin or Quinlan. Honestly I like Classic better for the movies (and for Han's undeniable sexiness) but there's more flexible pairings in the new ones.
