Whee! The Remix assignments are out! (The big, multifandom one.) You know what one fun thing about Remix is? Getting a name in your assignment that you're like- wtf, WHO? I've never even heard of them before! and then going and reading their stuff and being so, so grateful that you signed up because they're pretty darn good, they just write stuff you probably normally wouldn't have read, just because you usually don't read that character or pairing. Given that I listed BSG as a fandom this year and I don't read/right much Lee, Kara, Adama, or Roslin, this had a pretty good chance of happening ;) But OMG, I already have two fics I have ideas for. I love it.

I'm dying to know who got me and what they'll pick. This is even the first year they can pick from more than one fandom.

Oh, and Remixer? If you do read this, give me three weeks and A Lot to Live Up to is fair game. I know it's amazingly long and I would doubt anyone would choose to remix it, but just in case.

Speaking of remixes, bsg_remix people, there's one week left to get yours in! Will be posting soon on the community about this.

I'm very gleeful, because mine is finished, and I quite like it. Now I just need to get Hoshi to shut up about his past (and wow, am I learning a lot about the guy, and WOW, he kind of got fucked up when Cain shot Belzen) so I can write the next chapter of A Lot to Live Up To. I think, but don't quote me, there will be three more chapters of that. I'm never sure until I write stuff out, because sometimes things that I think will demand a lot of page space get covered quickly, and other times things I think will be a paragraph get most of a chapter (like Dee and Felix post-NC.) I'm also plotting an epilogue/post ALtLUt story with Hoshi in his Admiralty, and a little fic with Noel and Roslin, because my Noel muse is demanding time. (And now that he's actually given me a serious suggestion for a plotline that ties in with Dee, with her failing marriage, and with Gaeta and Hoshi and the mutiny, and DOESN'T involve sleeping with Dee or him getting naked, I can listen to him. YAY!) And oh yeah, my big bang, and my femgenficathon fic with Seelix. My Seelix muse has run off someplace. I hope my Cain muse didn't scare her.

I really need to see someone about the voices in my head.

Thanks, btw, to everyone who gave me hugs yesterday. I took the boys for ice cream last night, and it proved that the solution to many of life's problems is chocolate. :)

I haven't thought of the word Chibi in YEARS.
