Chapter 8 is at the beta's. ::phew:: Although I suspect this one will have Comments. (It would not surprise me, anyway. I'm not complaining- that's what a beta is for.)

I should be working on my remixredux09 fic. I keep forgetting that the time period is shorter this time around. On the other hand, I've chosen my fic, and I know it's not going to be one of my novel length dealies, so I'm feeling confident about being able to finish it. And I've got the best Remix title for it!!!! But this is one of those fics I have to be in the mood to write, and then I'll probably write it all in one sitting.

But there are other fics in my author's cache that are so tempting....

Also, I'm sure mod duties for bsg_remix are about to shift into high gear. We're up to 11 submitted remix fics, but more importantly, we're up to 2 days from the deadline.

It sounds like the kids are both sleeping. (Yay!) Trevor will most definitely sleep until 4:30, but Toby may not. I strongly suspect he'll wake up in an hour needed the bathroom. I was debating working out this afternoon because it's raining, but I'm fairly certain that if I try that, poor Tobe will start howling for me shortly after I go down. I've got a monitor, but I hate cutting a workout short. Besides, if I hold out, maybe it will clear up enough that I can go running tonight.

We finished season 2 of The Office last night. Oh, my God, what a train wreck. I can't believe a.) it's gotten so popular, and b.) I'm actually still watching it. The thing is, Steve Carrell's character annoys me, as does Dwight about half the time. But the other characters all entertain me, so... I'm stuck. And I really like Jim and Pam (who doesn't?), and the others. Any time Michael's not on the screen, I enjoy it.

However, you know what I find myself wanting to read? Dwight/Angela comedy fics. (NOTHING EXPLICIT, because EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!) Anyone know of any good Dwight/Angela comedy fics?



Howard's headed to England for a few days, which likely means I'll do more WW watching. I totally forgot Edward James Olmos had a small part in it, and when I opened up the jacket and saw Judge Adama there, I nearly cracked up laughing. I might also try to get a Lissa-only (aka, girl movie) movie in. I also need to type up some reviews.

And yet, I continue to procrastinate. God, I'm good at that!

Be prepared for a ton of last minute submissions on remix. 11 out of 48 though, that's maybe a bit unsettling. How's your list of pinch hitters going?

That's what I'm thinking! I might even see if I can rent them or something.

List of pinch hitters is... low. The thing is, we've only had one drop out so far. We've got a pinch hitter on that one, but we'll have to see what happens for the rest. (This is why we gave ourselves space before we start posting.)

Of course, if someone hasn't submitted or requested an extension, I may not get a pinch hitter to remix for them.

He goes every year, although this trip is special. Once Toby's eating better, though, we can leave the boys with my parents and then I can go, too :)
