Wow. What a crazy weekend. I mean, crazy insane bonkers weekend. My brother came to my uncle's funeral. This was monumental. also, much thanks to everyone who answered my last post about medicines and stuff. I will try to respond soon.

Anyway, overwhelmed by RL, so, fic! Yay! My list has gotten a little better:

1.) Rough Draft of bsg_bigbang is completed!!!!! Just as a warning, it is going to be a long, long sucker. I need to make some changes, but they won't substantially alter what I will say here: it's around 108,000 words, 225 pages, and 17 chapters plus epilogue. Honor and Duty, my Eight/Four story, sort of serves as a prologue.

I think what I'm going to do is post the story on my journal a few days before my posting date in private locked posts, because it's probably going to take, what, 8-10 posts at least? On my posting date, I'll post a master list at bsg_bigbang, plus my own journal and a few other relevant journals (gaeta_squee, bsg2003fics, whatever), and I'll unlock my entries. Am I correct in believing that this will help keep people's f-lists from being massively spammed?

I am SO excited to see what my artist comes up with. I also feel for her, because the characters that take the forefront are a lot of minor characters, and she does photo stuff. But I have faith in her abilities!

2.) bsgficexchange. I've got my bunny. I've got my outline. I've got my extension. Now I just need my text. I'm not panicking yet, because I DO have that bunny and outline. But I might soon.

3.) Sweeny Todd review is done- now I just need to post it. Yay!

4.) I have one idea for the battle, courtesy of tin_o_biscuits. Going to see if I can write it by tonight.

5.) I should also write something real quick for twelvecolonies's ship challenge. I assume they mean favorite romantic ship, but I could play with others.... (Or, OOH! I could write Dee/Narcho. Or could I write my foursome again? Not necessarily sexually? I miss Dee and Narcho, and even happy Felix and Louis.)

6.) I have a few bunnies that are hiding right now, scared by the rest of the pack. The big two are Teacher's Pet, which is a Narcho-Roslin fic, and Legacy, which is a Lee-comes-back-and-tries-to-settle fic. These have no deadlines, so they hide.

7.) And, of course, there's good old NaNoWriMo, which I am totally doing again this year. I need to re-read what I wrote last year, especially to make notes of a few names that I made up on the fly or developments that happened.

I feel like I'm missing something, but I think that's plenty! I also think I'd better get writing!!!

That's a clever idea about the pre-posted-then-unlocked private posts -- please let me know how it goes, and if it works out, I may borrow that idea for my own Big Bang (mine posts in December... on my birthday, if all goes well!)

Man, you're doing Big Bang, NaNoWriMo, the fic exchange, and you ran a half marathon? And you have KIDS? Frak, I thought I was busy. XD
