lls_mutantThe house is almost quiet. Toby's at the movies with Howard- they're seeing Oceans. Trevor is upstairs, napping in theory but talking in his crib. Which is too bad, because he needs the sleep. We took them to a car show last night, and they didn't get to bed until late.
I uploaded a bunch of old stuff to AO3 (including some HP, which shows you how old), and did the 25 word ficlet meme (to follow). I'm debating a nap, but I suspect Trevor will get grumpy and start yelling as soon as I fall asleep. What I should do is write- I've got a partly done review of Moon on my desk top, and I have to do my remix. I think I FINALLY have a bunny for that. Hallelujah. However, I am feeling very lazy, and my in-laws are coming at 5:00 for dinner. We'll see.

"Bondage. I like the way you ladies think." Barney thought he was getting lucky. But judging by the girls' smiles, this game wasn't about sex.

"Is it genetic?" Dee asked the old man. "Are all Adama men this stupid?"
Sam poured their drinks and bolted his back. "Yeah. We are."

Toby never thought he'd be singing about what was wrong with this bill and detailing how the senator was a moron. But it was catchy.
7. Horror, 10. (Sam Adama)
They all rose out of the water to face him, every person he had ever killed. Sam steeled himself and gripped his knives.

"All right, Hera," Dee said. "Arms at your side, stand at attention." Hera obeyed.
"We'll make a great soldier out of you," Mulan said happily.

"I'm not watching a sloth porno!" Xander insisted.
"Oh, like you've got anything better to do tonight," Sid retorted, snatching the video off the shelf.

Helo smirked. "Why do we always underestimate the geeks?"

Noel found him after Jurgen's death. "I don't want to talk," Louis snapped.
"I know," Noel said, opening his arms. "That's why I'm here."

The Cylons lined up facing their queen. Cally smiled benevolently. "Okay," she said. "We've frakked with Baltar's head enough. Now let's start in on Starbuck."

The Admiral grabbed Louis's arm and sliced it open with her knife. And when she did, wires and circuitry were visible under the blood.

"I never thought you'd do this well with a kid," Helo said, scooping Hera back up.
Narcho shrugged. "Yeah, well, back on Scorpia… never mind."

The Eight grinned with wicked anticipation. "I hope you're right!"
