Dec. 17th, 2005 04:52 pmI need a good depressed icon that isn't just HP-related.
Like a good portion of my f-list, I'm somewhat out of sorts today. Normally, celebrity deaths don't bother me, but John Spencer's did. This one hit almost as badly as when Mr. Rogers died. I know that sounds big, but still. I really do like what I've seen of West Wing (we've only watched the first four seasons as of yet), and I've always been very fond of Leo- to the point where he's probably my second favorite character. (It's pretty impossible to top Toby.) I suspect I'm going to cry my eyes out when we pop in the first episode from season 5 and I see him.
Rest in peace, John Spencer.
I'm so not into the Christmas mood this year. I knew I was going to be busy (thus the reason I didn't really participate in any/many card swaps), but I just am exhausted as well, and Christmas just seems like this huge burden. Maybe it will feel more like Christmas once we get a tree... if we manage to do so. My poor husband is exhausted as well. Today he's been going around to different places doing a lot of Christmas shopping, and tomorrow he has to be at his brother's at 7 AM to help him move. Ugh.
And I am frantically trying to finish my shackingup_sesa fic. I WILL get it done- in fact, I could probably cut out the plot and submit a PWP type story, but I'd really rather not. I the fic-fanart swap (I forget what it's called at the moment because I'm tired. The annoying thing is that one I have pouring out of my fingers, and it's not due for another 13 days or so.) and the year end review article for MRFH (which I'm cheating and revising a LJ entry I made a while back- HA!), and oh yeah, editing for the novel. Which all tells me I need to use this time that LLN is sleeping to write.
And pump.
Thus endeth the random entry of spam.

I watched "Stand by Me" Friday night and it still made me a little weepy.
