Sandwich

I had the best sandwich for lunch today. It sounds a little wierd, but it was so good. A grilled peanut butter banana split sandwich. It was white bread with 1 tbsp pb and 2 tsp honey mixed together and spread on, a half a teaspoon of mini chocolate chips sprinkled over, a huge sliced strawberry, and a sliced half a banana. (It was supposed to have pineapple jam, too, but I don't like pineapple.) Then it was grilled. It was really, really, really, really good, even if it makes you wonder if I'm pregnant again. (I'm not. And for the record, the recipe is in Cooking Light- I didn't come up with it.)

I found an old story I'd written back in the days of my Pern writing, and God, it made me cry. It was pretty much a journal entry for a funeral I'd gone to- a stillborn baby. (pfrsue, it was "Without You.") I was tempted to post it, but it seemed like a violation of their privacy, even if I change their names and whatever. I mean, it was one thing when I wrote it- I wrote it back when I was still dealing with it. But now, posting it seems like, I don't know... it's the kind of thing where I want to share it because of the experience, but because this is a writing journal, I feel cheap posting it and having people give me feedback.

I also found my new Sooper Sekret Project :) And I've added a page (in single space) to AIL. And I should go start dinner, because the beef pot pie takes a while.

That sandwich actually does sound really good. It's making my peanut butter and jelly dinner seem very, very boring. :(
