Just for the record, I am still here.

It's been a rough week. My mom insisted on starting Toby on rice cereal when we were at Albany, which he is ready for. But she also said he should have more than one meal a day, and stupid us, we listened to her because he took to it SO well. Thing is, while Toby was totally ready for it from the chest up, his little digestive system isn't. I refuse to say how much cereal we were giving him a day because I'm embarrassed because it was SO far off, but it's led to several sleepless nights for all of us. Add into the mix that I've either had a sinus infection or a cold or something, and it's just been miserable.

On the bright side, he's been all smiles during the day.

I am also incredibly sick of having chapter 11 of Accidentally In Love unfinished, so I'm hoping to post it this week. If not this week, next, but I might actually look for a beta for this one, just because I really should in general. Anyone game? It'll probably be about 18 pages in Word TNR font singles spaced, so it's long. On the bright side, you guys have seen what I generally put up un-betaed, so I'd like to believe it's not TOO daunting of a task.

And now I should put a shirt on and feed my son, and maybe he'll nap after this. He's a grump.

If you want a beta, I'm game. And I have no idea how much rice cereal a 4-month-old should eat, so you'll get absolutely no judgments from me. :) Hope you feel better!

Thanks on all counts! I'll send it to you when it's done. I've actually gotten quite a bit done today, so maybe (please God!) it will get done soon.

And I guess he should be havign 2 Tbsp a day. Kind of scary what I was giving him. Poor little guy- it's really been playing havoc on his digestive system. And on my guilt!

Oh, I don't think there is much worse than having a child under the weather when you're not so hot yourself. I hope you both feel better soon!

Thanks. I'm definitely feeling better- just tired. He's having a rough day, but he had shots last night, so that's really to be expected. (Plus, all that cereal. Oh, the guilt! That's easily the worst part of motherhood.)

*hugs*

Good to hear from you, and I hope you start feeling better soon! I imagine the sleepless nights haven't much help you kick whatever it is you got.
