Okay, f-list. Question for you.

There's a couple of you out there that say you have been spoiled. Me, I don't mind being spoiled. In fact, on this particular matter I WANT to be spoiled, because I will enjoy the book much more if I know it's coming.

I've seen the rumor/spoiler that Tonks falls for Lupin. HOWEVER, I have reasonable reasons to be doubtful of the validity of the poster- not the least of which is that I have no clue as to who they are (and some of the other spoilers seemed a bit unlikely to me). Is there anyone out there that can elaborate on this particular rumor/spoiler/whatever? (Especially on Lupin's feelings in return, if they're known?)

I'd also have fun with that storyline. I've been dying for some moral greyness somewhere along the line. My mind's working away here about how Molly would react as she strikes me as the more conservative out of her and Arthur.

The Snape storyline seems a bit far fetched but thinking about it, JK has been really cagey about Snape and his motives. And am I the only one not wanting any shipping within the Trio?

Yeah- same here with Molly vs. Arthur. It would be a BLAST to write, and there's so much you could do. And Percy finding out! I'd love to know how having a werewolf for a brother might affect him. That's one of those spoilers that, the more I think about it, the more I'm hoping it's true.)

Snape... I've speculated about Snape in my head, and I can't come up with anything. The popular Snape/Lily theory seems too trite and not something JKR would come up with. Snape being some sort of royalty or whatever... thing is, I REALLY liked darktwin's idea that the HBP is more a historical concept than an actual character. That had more of a ring of truth about it to me.

Shipping in the Trio- the only ship I've ever really cared about is R/S, to be honest. I wouldn't mind R/Hr and H/G, but you know, I wouldn't mind no shipping in the Trio, either. I've been re-reading OotP, and I am thinking that Ron and Hermione missed their window of opportunity there. Not sure. But yeah, the love lives of the Trio don't interest me so much- especially with each other!

The HBP was never going to be royalty as such. I always thought as it was meant to balance CoS, that the HBP was similar to the Heir of Slytherin and more of a concept. You're important because someone in your family was born on the wrong side of the blanket way back when.

Percy is going to be very interesting to see which way he jumps in HBP. I can see why he behaved he did in OotP and the rest of the Weasleys didn't behave that much better.

The whole point of the Trio is that they are so much better as friends and a romantic liason between two of them will throw the whole balance off. Although Menage a Trois would be nice

I am DYING to see what happens with the Percy plot. The thing about Percy is it hits home really badly- my brother pulled a Percy, so I really sympathize with the rest of the Weasleys. Families are hard. And if Bill IS a werewolf and Percy gets wind of it, it will be interesting to see which way he-

I think you're right, actually. If Ron and Hermione end up shipped, I'd rather see it at the end of book 7, not now. Although Harry's got other friends as well! (Although in looking at the book jacket, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny are of topmost importance.)

Well I thin it wuldbe quite cool. I mean, being able to say "Eons ago, we're related to X" but it really takes the shine off itif that ncestorwas a bastard (in the original sense of the word). It could makes someone bitter and show up the diffrences between thos who were born on the right side of of the blenket and those who weren't. But pet thery. roably won't happen and I won't be too upset if it doesn't :D

He has got other friends but Ron and Hermione are so much closer. They're his pseudo family. As for Trio shipping, what puts me off the most is the fans. There's just so much drama and it gives me ulcers.

Yeah, I feel the same way. The nice thing about shipping Tonks/Charlie is that it's very rarely noticed. I like that ship :)

Ooh, I've read a couple of cute fics for Charlie/Tonks. My current het OTP is Charlie/Lavender (due to excess RPing :D) followed shortly by Charlie/hermione or Bill/Hermione. But Charlie/Tonks is cute.
